“Now the eyes of Israel were dim with age, so that he could not see. Then Joseph brought them near him, and he kissed them and embraced them. Then Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands knowingly, for Manasseh was the firstborn. And he blessed Joseph, and said: “God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, The God who has fed me all my life long to this day,”Genesis 48:10, 14-15
Life Is A Remix, we live and relive the stories, choices, challenges/ tests of our fore parents; in today’s study we witness Israel (Jacob) nearing the close of his life, in a similar state as was his father (Issac) when he “took” the Firstborn Blessing, here however he chose Ephraim (the younger *fruitfulness ) over Manasseh (the one whose very name indicates *Forgetfulness). If you’re ever wondering what might be the greatest expression of Love you can Gift someone one with before you leave this earth, I recommend you dig into your Biblical Fruit Basket: Share CHRIST! HalleluYAH!
Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. Genesis 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Today’s study: Genesis 48, Today’s Verses: “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,” I Peter 1:6-7 “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,” I Peter 3:18
