“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of The Lord In the land of the living. Wait on The Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on The Lord!” Psalms 27:13-14 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29
Happy Labor Day (?) … labor: to feel fatigue; by implication to work hard: – (bestow) labour, toil, be wearied. We have a common enemy, he’s an imposter steady counterfeiting the things of God. Our True God, Savior, Provider Created this world and everything in it, gave us life and rested on The seventh day: He blessed it/ made it Holy: this day is called The Sabbath, a set-aside day of rest, recreation and worship of our Heavenly Father (Genesis 1, 2(2-3), Exodus 20 (3,8-11) now Let’s take a look at what we are actually celebrating… today is Monday the first day of the common: man made/ established “work week”, where I live this is the only time when so big a fuss: celebration: fanfare: parade occurs over the “work week”… many hard working individuals come from everywhere to take part in this, I’ve known many who found their rest/ recreation in “carnival hopping” around the globe … and the stories… (not mine to tell 🤐) the issue here is many hard working individuals are sowing seeds to (of) the flesh; this beloved will only reap weakness: sin: corruption: death, this is not God’s plan for your life.

““If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of The Lord honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words,” Isaiah 58:13 The Sabbath is meant to be a delight for all involved, especially when we follow the Word of God on the matter.
